How do I register for E-Service?
It’s easy! Simply go to the login page click onRegister and complete the registration page to set up your personal account. Your registration will be processed immediately, and a verification code for your initial login will be emailed to you.

What information do I need?
You will need to enter your account number and your customer number. Please enter all numbers, including the zeros.

What can I use as my Username?
Your Username can be anything you want. We do not require any specific combination of letters, numbers or special characters. You will use this Username every time you login to E-Service.

What is a Display Name?
The Display Name is a field required for internal purposes. We do not require any specific combination of letters, numbers or special characters. You may use your Username if you choose.

What can I use as my Password? Do you require a combination of letters and numbers?
Your password must be at least 7 characters long, but it can be anything you want. We do not require any specific combination of letters, numbers or special characters. The password is case sensitive.

Where is my Verification Code?
A Verification Code is necessary for your initial login to Eservice. When you successfully register your account, a Verification Code will be sent to your email address. If you do not see this email in your Inbox, please check your Junk Email folder. Your Internet Service Provider or Email Provider may have automatically flagged the email as Junk. If you did not receive the email, you may have mistyped your email address during registration. Please call Belize Electricty Limited Monday through Friday between 8AM and 5PM at 0-800-235-2273. A Customer Service Representative will provide your Verification Code.

I can’t log in/ my password doesn’t work.
Your password is case sensitive. Please be sure to type the password using upper and lower case characters as needed.

How do I change my password?
You can change your password any time by clicking on My E-service -->View / Update Profile --> Edit Profile--> Manage Password.

What if I forget my password?
You may request a password reminder by selecting “Forgot your password” on the login page. Enter your username, then click on Send Password. Your password reminder will be sent to your email address saved in Eservice.

 What is eBills?
During registration for E-Service, you may elect to start receiving eBills. If you choose to receive eBills, we will notify you by email when your bill is ready for viewing. You may view details or print any of your ebills generated after the subscription date to eBill.

What is Printed Bills?
During registration for E-Service, you may elect to stop receiving printed bills. E-Service allows you three options for receiving your electricity bill. 1.) The environmentally friendly option of receiving your bill electronically via e-Bill 2.) Both via e-Bill AND a printed bill 3.) Exclusively by Printed Bill. Note: With billing exclusively via e-bill all you need to have on hand is your BEL Account number and your customer number when paying your bill.

What is ePayments?
During registration for E-Service, you may elect to start receiving ePayments. If you choose to receive ePayments, we will notify you by email when a payment has been made towards your account. The notification message will include the payment amount, payment date and your remaining balance .

What is eBillDue?
During registration for E-Service, you may elect to start receiving eBillDue. If you choose to receive eBillDue, we will send you three payment due notifications by email: two before and one on the day payment is due.

Can I unsubscribe to eBill, ePayment Notification and Bill Due Reminders?
You can unsubscribe by clicking on My E-service -->View / Update Profile --> Edit Profile--> Manage Profile.

How do I view information for my other accounts?
You have access to view information for all your accounts the moment you sign up to E-Service for the first time.  When you log into E-Service by default you get to see information for the account you signed up with. You can switch to another account in your name by clicking the “My BEL Accounts” option located near the top left of the screen and then by clicking the desired account number.

How do I receive Bill Ready notifications, Bill Due reminders, or Payment notifications for all my accounts?
You need to register each account in E-Service in order to receive these notifications. Contact us and we will assist you in registering your accounts.
