Closing Account

Closing Accounts refers to when a customer requires that his/her account is closed and the electrical service be disconnected. To process the following customers need to visit the nearest Customer Care office or submit a signed request. 

Requirement for Residential Customers:

  •  If a disconnection is requested on the behalf of the account holder, a written and signed request from the account holder MUST be presented along with a copy of the account holder’s Social Security Card.
  • Meter Number or copy of Electricity Bill.
  • Outstanding balance must be paid upon request.
  • Forwarding Address must be provided where the last bill will be delivered.
  • Contact number(s) / e-mail address

Requirement for Commercial Customers:

  • Request MUST be submitted in writing (The document MUST be on a company letterhead and/or with a company stamp.)
  • Written request must be signed by business owner or his/her authorized designate, along with a copy of signatory’s
  • Social Security Card or passport.
  • Meter Number or Copy of Electricity Bill.
  • Outstanding Balance must be paid upon request.
  • Forwarding Address must be provided where the last bill will be delivered.
  • Contact Number(s) / Email Address(s).
